What is the Haven at Kennesaw?
The Haven at Kennesaw is a private, off-campus student housing alternative within close proximity to Kennesaw State University. It is the newest housing option in Kennesaw and is the only community exclusively offering private cottages.
Why a Cottage?
This concept has proven to be popular throughout the housing industry near Southeastern universities and has recently been embraced in Kennesaw.
A cottage means:
• More living space for you and your friends- including tons of private deck and patio space for each home
• Yards and ample green space just steps outside your door for each resident
• No shared wall space on all sides of you like in an apartment, creating more quiet space and less noise from neighbors
• Parking available right outside your home
What Else is Different About The Haven at Kennesaw?
Our focus is to create a community that we would have loved to live in during college. As such, we utilize local, hands-on management with a personal touch. The boutique size of The Haven at Kennesaw allows for a greater sense of community than you would ever find at a mega-complex.
How Do I Lease a Cottage at The Haven at Kennesaw?
All fees must be paid via personal check, money order or cashier's check. Please contact us at email@example.com to arrange this.
A cottage can not be taken off the market by one person. The entire cottage must be leased in order to reserve it for the year. You and your friends can take one cottage or roommate matching is available if you need help finding roommates. Cottages are leased on a first come, first serve basis. The group that completes the entire application process first will reserve the cottage. All applications are time sensitive and all documents can be transferred to any of our other properties.
Is The Haven at Kennesaw Open to Non-Students?
Nearly all the residents at The Haven are students at Kennesaw State University and the per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Nonetheless, The Haven is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. Family members are welcome as well, subject to occupancy limits. Because of the need to match student roommates, non-students must apply together with enough roommates to fill the desired cottage.
